Subject of Email: An exemplary employee at Palm Garden
While it’s true we all hear the negative comments from time to time, it’s far less often one takes the time to mention the positive responses in our daily lives.
As you recall, I had the opportunity to meet you about a month ago when my Father, Elmer R., began his rehab stay at Palm Garden. I’m pleased to say the 95 year young Elmer is doing much better and we are making plans to leave your facility tomorrow. Thanks for assisting this WWII veteran back to his normal life.
As the immediate Family lives out of Florida, trying to manage our Dad’s progress has been somewhat difficult, until Kristine M. reached out.
In her role as Social Services Director, Kristine did an excellent job of communicating with both the Family and Patient, and always in a very pleasant manner.
She went out of her way to assist, and really helped in more ways than she may have realized.
My hope is that you might share this correspondence with her or others within your organizing with the “job well done” message.

“I left on Sunday. I would like to thank Shane and Jamie and the rest of the rehab staff for my recovery. They helped to make my recovery a pleasant one. Their caring way of presenting rehab was very helpful to me. I would like to compliment a staff member, the hospitality hostess, Stephanie for all she did for me during my meal time at the Cypress Cafe. She is a fantastic hostess and I couldn’t ask for a nicer person. I would appreciate it if my compliments could be shared with these people.”
